Samsung LED TV

Samsung’s LED technology used in their new Series 6 and 7 ranges of TVs means that it offers you a product which has the following benefits:
  • Improved Picture Quality – LED TVs typically produce deeper blacks and due to the nature in which they are used, ie. They are used in groups to light the display, even if one fails then the rest of the group still produces light and the TV can still be used – whereas if an fluorescent bulb in a traditional LCD, you may end up just having to replace the TV.
  • Ultra-slim Design – Since LED TVs do not need to be lit by fluorescent bulbs (which add greatly to the depth/thickness build of the traditional LCD TVs), it means that the it opens up the opportunity for thinner, stylish TV designs using current LCD technology.
  • Environmentally Friendly – LEDs they produce little heat, so energy wastage is reduced and therefore uses around 40% less power than an average TV. Also, because the components are inert plastic and metal they are better for the environment whereas traditional LCDs using fluorescent bulbs contain gases that need to be carefully disposed of.

Samsung’s LED TVs (Series 6 and 7) are not only stylishly thin (1.2”), but they are almost Apple-like in terms of design and production – these LED TVs are one solid piece of technological product rather than being multiple part moulded together.

These TVs also offer you great connectivity with a wide array of possibilities including 4 x HDMI ports, 2 x USB ports, a DTV Tuner, wireless LAN and internet TV. This all means that there’s an awful lot you can do with these TVs, whether it’s using the gaming mode to play your favourite Xbox 360 and PS3 games or using the internet connection to surf the web on your huge living room TV – which comes in sizes between 40” and 55” options – that sure beats surfing sat at your desk computer looking at a small display, especially when using the Samsung pebble-shaped secondary remote control to elegantly navigate your TV experience.

These new Samsung LED TVs (Series 6 and 7) are definitely impressive to look at and are very tempting to me as someone who is looking to replace his aging Samsung 32” LCD TV (which does get noticeably hot to the touch as it happens) – I don’t know about you, but in these current economic times, I’d rather buy less things overall and know that I’m buying a quality product, this certainly looks as though it qualifies as a worthy purchase to keep you well entertained in your own home!
